   In this class, my main hope is to be able to gain some clarity on whether teaching is actually a career choice that would be suitable for me. Additionally, being able to learn about the different resources I could use if I do decide to become a teacher also seems helpful, for I probably would not have learned about them if not for this class. Another hope I have for this class is to be able to become more skilled with technology. Although I already have a good understanding of how to use technology, I think I can further develop my skills through taking this class.  

    My prior experience using technology in an educational setting has varied over the years. In middle school, we would focus on typing skills to improve our typing speed and capabilities overall. However, in high school, we would use technology to create presentations, write papers, create resumes, and so forth.  Additionally, technology played a huge part in my freshman year of high school due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we really had to figure out how to work a variety of different websites and resources to succeed and adapt to these new conditions. 

    What I currently like to learn about is our world geography. I am interested in knowing where every single state is, where every country is, and just knowing all the countries in general. I think it's important to know about the world we live in, which is why I have taken it upon myself to learn about it. The resources I use to accomplish my goal are websites that offer games that help you memorize the locations of these countries. I like these websites because they make learning feel fun yet engaging, and it makes me want to compete with myself to beat my previous high score and successfully be able to identify all the countries just by looking at a map.
